We love that our natural color is achieved with absolutely zero dyes, organic or otherwise! This neutral cream color is created by simply scouring the woven fabric bringing out it's natural, clean look. We never use bleach to make or maintain Gray Heron blankets. Simply brighten with an oxygen whitener to keep your blanket looking bright when needed.
Gray Heron weaves our muslin in quadruple layers, twice as thick as a swaddle blanket. All-season blankets are crafted with two "quad gauze" layers and summer-weight blankets use a single layer of our muslin.
Wash cold and dry on low. Always care for your blanket according to these guidelines to optimize softness and ensure years of use. Use oxygen whitener, not bleach, when needed for lighter colors.
