All-Season Organic Muslin Contrast Border Throw Blankets
Reversible Border Blankets are unique to our little company. No other muslin blanket offers contrast borders like Gray Heron with expert craftsmen and women stitching mitered edges for a lovely finished look. Made of Gray Heron Organic Gossamer Gauze, the texture is buttery, puckered heaven. Gray Heron feels light yet substantial, and our 8 whisper thin layers allows for air flow between your body and the outside world while providing just enough warmth. The blankets can be used alone in warmer climates and as a lovely top or mid layer in colder weather!
Border blankets are made in small batches, we only make 50 at a time. The throw size border blanket is often given as a housewarming gift or a special thank you to a dear friend.
Two layers of quadruple woven gauze, four times thicker than a light swaddle. Still lightweight, but will provide substance and warmth. Recommended for layering in the winter and as a stand-alone blanket in the summer. Use without a flat sheet or top layer for maximum breathability and air-flow.
Wash cold and dry on low. Always care for your blanket according to these guidelines to optimize softness and ensure years of use. Use oxygen whitener, not bleach, when needed for lighter colors.
